Getting to the South West London centre

Training is at 108 Battersea High Street, London SW11 3HP. Battersea High Street is a short walk from Clapham Junction. Battersea Park and Queenstown Road stations are also near, and several bus routes serve Battersea High Street and Falcon Road. Battersea High Street is our only centre south west of the river. It is a short walk from Clapham Junction, which makes it the sensible choice for Clapham, Wandsworth, Putney, Vauxhall and anyone on the Southern or South Western lines.

At South West London this course starts every Saturday. There are 15 dates open to book now, listed below with the day each one starts. The course runs over 5 days (Wednesday to Sunday), 9am to 6pm each day. Every session counts towards the SIA's minimum hours, so plan to be there for all of it.

The fee, and how it is paid

The full fee is £440. You pay £140 online when you book and the remaining £300 at the centre on your first day. The deposit is not refundable, because your place is registered and the trainer is arranged as soon as you book, but you can move to another date once, free of charge, with at least 48 hours notice.

Who books the refresher and CCTV bundle at South West London

Mostly Door Supervisors renewing who want to add control room work to what they can do. Bring your current or expired licence number. The SIA lets you renew before your licence expires or up to three years after, and the refresher is valid for your renewal once you have passed.

What to bring

Bring a passport or driving licence, two proofs of address dated in the last three months, and three passport size photos. ACT Awareness and ACT Security certificates are needed too. They are free online and the joining instructions show you where.
