This SIA top up refresher training in South West London is the refresher training the SIA requires before a Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence is renewed. You choose the licence you hold when you book: the Door Supervisor refresher takes two days and the Security Guard refresher one. Emergency First Aid is included in the price and taught as part of the course. Pick Door Supervisor Licence (2 days) or Security Guard Licence (1 day) when you book.

Getting to the South West London centre

Training is at 108 Battersea High Street, London SW11 3HP. Battersea High Street is a short walk from Clapham Junction. Battersea Park and Queenstown Road stations are also near, and several bus routes serve Battersea High Street and Falcon Road. It is our only centre in South West London, and Clapham Junction makes it the sensible choice for Clapham, Wandsworth, Putney, Vauxhall and anyone on the Southern or South Western lines.

What you pay

The full fee is £220. You pay £70 online when you book and the remaining £150 at the centre on your first day. The deposit is not refundable, because your place is registered and the trainer is arranged as soon as you book, but you can move to another date once, free of charge, with at least 48 hours' notice.

Who books the top up refresher at the South West London centre

Mostly licence holders coming up for renewal who want the refresher and the first aid certificate in one booking. Bring your current or expired licence number. The SIA lets you renew before your licence expires or up to three years after, and the refresher is valid for your renewal once you have passed.

What to bring

Your passport or UK driving licence, two proofs of address from the last three months and three passport size photos. For an SIA licence course you also need your two ACT certificates, which are free online; the joining instructions explain how to get them.
