SIA Door Supervisor Refresher Training Aldgate
From 1 April 2025, every SIA Door Supervisor must complete a refresher qualification before applying to renew their licence. The requirement applies to all renewals from that date onwards, whatever date your original badge was issued, and there is no exemption for officers who have worked continuously. SIA Door Supervisor Refresher Training Aldgate keeps you compliant with the updated standards in two days at our E1 6TD centre.
Refresher and Top-Up Training for Door Supervisors
- From April 2025, completing a refresher qualification is mandatory before the SIA will process a renewal
- Until 31 March 2025, door supervisors holding qualifications obtained before April 2021 had to complete either Top-Up Training or Refresher Training ahead of renewal. If that deadline passed without you completing it, SIA Refresher Training in Aldgate is what puts you right
Timing is where people come unstuck. Renewals are not instant, and if your badge expires while the application sits with the SIA you cannot legally work until the new one is issued. Book while your current licence still has months on it and that gap never opens.
First Aid Requirement
SIA Door Supervisor Refresher Training Aldgate covers both halves of the renewal requirement. You must hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, or an accepted equivalent, alongside your refresher before the SIA will process a renewal. Both parts have to be in place, not one or the other.
Emergency First Aid is included in the two days here, so if your certificate has lapsed there is nothing separate to book and no second provider to find.
