SIA Door Supervisor Refresher + First Aid in Stratford

Book the SIA Door Supervisor refresher + First Aid in Stratford if you want Door Supervisor licence training close to Stratford in East London: it is the refresher qualification the SIA has required since April 2025 before a Door Supervisor licence can be renewed. Over two days it brings your training up to the current units, including searching, safeguarding and physical intervention.

Dates and times at Stratford

At Stratford this course starts every Saturday. There are 15 dates open to book now, listed below with the day each one starts. The course runs over 2 days, 9am to 6.30pm each day. Every session counts towards the SIA's minimum hours, so plan to be there for all of it.

Deposit and balance

The full fee is £210. You pay £80 online when you book and the remaining £130 at the centre on your first day. The deposit is not refundable, because your place is registered and the trainer is arranged as soon as you book, but you can move to another date once, free of charge, with at least 48 hours notice.

Training is at 44 The Broadway, Stratford, London E15 1XH. The centre is a few minutes from Stratford station, which has the Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines, the DLR and the Overground. Stratford has more transport than any other centre we use, with the Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines, the DLR and the Overground all at one station, so it is the one to pick if you are travelling from further out.

Who books the Door Supervisor refresher at Stratford

Mostly Door Supervisors whose licence expires in the next few months and anyone whose licence has lapsed and wants to work on doors again. Bring your current or expired licence number. The SIA lets you renew before your licence expires or up to three years after, and the refresher is valid for your renewal once you have passed.

What to bring

Photo ID (a passport or UK driving licence), two recent proofs of address and three passport photos. You also need your two free ACT certificates from ProtectUK before day one. The joining instructions walk you through getting them.
